USB charging has made charging our mobile devices a much more simplified affair. Gone are the days of having to carry half a dozen different charges, one for each of our devices. Now, all you have to do to charge your device is to find a USB port as long as you have the right cable. However, not all USB charging ports are the same. There are 1A ports, 2.1A ports and of late, USB charging ports that support Qualcomm Quickcharge. For the quickest charging time, you need to use the right port. For a one device solution for all your charging needs, you need the Chuwi W-100 Power Station.
The Chuwi W-100 Power Station is a complete solution for charging most if not all your mobile devices, it even doubles up as a docking station. It has a clean and minimalistic design that we are a big fan of. It has four USB charging ports that are protected with flip covers. Another interesting feature of the design is that you can plug and unplug USB cables single handedly.
What makes the design interesting is that when you flip one of the cover open, it can be used for supporting a device in a vertical position. One of the port is colored orange to identify it as the Qualcomm Quickcharge 3.0 (QC3) compatible charging port. If you have one the newer charges that support QC3, you can get it charged up to 4 times faster using this port. The QC3 port is also backwards compatible with older Quickcharge standards as well as non-QC compatible devices.
The other 3 ports can be used for charging just about any device that uses USB charging. Just like the QC3 port, all ports have built-in smart technology to detect the optimum charging current. You don’t have to worry about damaging any of your devices.
You can charge up to 4 devices at the same time. However, it has a maximum output of 3.4A. This means that your devices won’t charge as fast if you plug in all four of them at once.
