One look at the Flux Capacitor Car Charger and we couldn’t wait to give our money away. This has got to be one of the coolest USB car charger ever! It even lights up like the real thing.
In case you are wondering, if your DeLorean’s (or whatever your current ride is) DC port does not produce 1.21 gigawatts of electricity, the Flux Capacitor Car Charger will still work. It may not send you back to the future (or the past) but instead of consuming gigawatts of power, it will power 2 of your USB powered devices with 2.1 Amps of power. Not really in the class of a Mr. Fusion Home Energy Reactor, but good enough to keep your phone powered for the day.
(Update July 2014) Great Scott! Think Geek has received enough votes from fans of the Flux Capacitor Car Charger to make it a real product. It may have started out as an April Fool’s day joke but it is now a real product. Just head on over and get your very own Flux Capacitor. Best of all, it is USB powered and does not require plutonium.
Before you take your wallet out, we have some bad news for you. The Flux Capacitor Car Charger is not a real product. Not yet anyway. It is one of the joke items thought up by ThinkGeek for April Fool’s day. Believe us, we are as crushed as you. However, you can make this a real product by voting for it on the ThinkGeek site.
