The HDMI Pocket Projector is great little device that allows you to carry a 60 inch display for your smartphone or tablet in your (fairly large) pocket. We generally love things that come in small packages but an exception to that rule is display size. The display size has to be balanced with the portability of a mobile device so we usually compromise on display size. With the HDMI Pocket Projector we no longer have to compromise as it is able to project images at up to 60 inches diagonal given the right lighting conditions.
The super bright LED lamp in the projector is able to project up to a brightness of 85 lumens. This is an amazing feat for a device that only measures 3.9″ (W) x 3.8″ (D) x .89″ (H) and weighing less than half a pound. The built-in rechargeable 3800 mAh battery lasts up to 2 hours on a single charge and even acts as a battery charger when connected to a phone.
The HDMI Pocket Projector can be connected to any device that has HDMI output. For most Android phones, an MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) cable is required. The MHL cable has a micro-USB connector on one end and a HDMI connector on the other end. iOS devices on the other hand, requires an Apple Digital AV Adapter.
The HDMI Pocket Projector comes with built-in speakers which are suitable for running presentations as well as watching movies.
