A Möbius strip is a surface that has only one side and one edge. If you travel along the surface of a Möbius strip, you will go around twice and end up at the same starting point. Fascinating? Definitely! What has this got to do with the comfort of a travel pillow? Almost certainly nothing. But that didn’t stop Amsterdam-based BCXSY from creating the Huzi Infinity Pillow, a travel pillow that is shaped like a Möbius strip.
We are not entirely sure if the Möbius strip design makes a difference. What is sure is that it is great for marketing. For one thing, it is how the Huzi Infinity Pillow gets its name. There certainly seems to be an almost infinite ways of of using the pillow. The pillow itself is fairly large loop and therefore there are many ways you can fold, scrunch and re-loop the Huzi Infinity Pillow to get the right amount of support and comfort that you want.
If you can’t figure out how a pillow in the shape of a loop can be used, Huzi has provided some very helpful suggestions. You can loop it a couple of times around your neck and use it as a neck pillow. Pull it over your eyes and it doubles up as an eye mask. Cover your ears at the same time and it helps block out noise while you snooze. Scrunch it up and use it as a desk or window pillow. Loop around your back to give your back some support. You can even loop it around your feet as a feet warmer.
The Huzi Infinity Pillow is made from 100% bamboo fabric and filled with synthetic fiber thermal insulation from 3M known as Thinsulate. Bamboo fabric is naturally anti-bacterial and hypoallergenic. It also makes the pillow machine washable.
Compared to ordinary travel pillows, the Huzi Infinity Pillow does cost more. However, it is also arguably more versatile than any ordinary travel pillow. That means you will be getting more uses out of the Infinity Pillow than a standard travel pillow.
