Do you game on your laptop or Windows tablet? Do you use a gamepad? If you answered yes to both questions, you may be interested in the Ion Go Pad. Granted, this is not a high-end gamepad targeted at the hardcore gaming crowd but it is a nice little gamepad for a quick spot of casual gaming. It is also a pretty good pad if you are into arcade or video games console emulators while on the go.
The neat thing about the Ion Go Pad is of course the fact that it can be folded into half which makes it really portable. It even comes with a spring winding 2.5 feet USB cable. If you need a longer cable, there is a mini-USB port for you to connect an external cable. It has the standard directional pad on the left on 4 face buttons on the right plus a couple of shoulder buttons. That should be enough buttons to cover most if not all your games. While we miss the fact that the Ion Go Pad is not wireless, it also means that we don’t have to worry about batteries going dead on us.
If you have an Android smart phone that has a USB OTG port, you may even be able to get the Ion Go Pad to work with the help of a USB OTG adapter.
