The Keyboard Waffle Iron makes waffles that are CTRL-ALT-DELicious! Please excuse the geek joke but seriously which bona-fide geek would not go crazy over a waffle iron that produces waffles in the shape of a keyboard? We probably had you at Keyboard Waffle.
The Keyboard Waffle Iron started out as a student art project that soon went viral with everyone wanting to know where they can get one. From there, it went on to become a Kickstarter project. Through the support of 850 mentally questionable backers from 35 different countries, the Keyboard Waffle Iron became a reality. The rest, as they say, is history.
The Keyboard Waffle Iron or KWI for short, is made from non-stick, easy to clean, die-cast aluminum. It also has handles made from bakelite that are heat resistant for easy handling and flipping of the iron. The KWI maker also goes into great lengths to highlight that the KWI is wireless.
The KWI can be used on a kitchen stove, backyard BBQ or a camping grill. If you are a little more adventurous, you can venture out to the dark side of waffle irons and experiment with hash browns, paninis, brownies, and more.
Even if you have never made waffles before in your entire life, don’t worry because it is real easy. A helpful digital recipe book is included guiding you on how to prepare the waffle batter. Just pour the ready batter into the KWI, close and place iron on your stove, wait 3 to 4 minutes, flip it over, wait another 3 to 4 minutes, and you are ready to eat.
