Sleeping in a moving vehicle during a long journey can literally be a pain in the neck. That was why Studio Banana Things came up with the original Ostrich Pillow, the pillow that lets people catch a much needed nap anytime, anywhere including in a moving vehicle. Despite its ridiculous looking design, the Ostrich Pillow went on the become a huge hit. Studio Banana Things is now following up with the Ostrich Pillow Junior, a smaller sized version that is squarely aimed at the little people in your life.
Designed by Kawamura-Ganjavian, a Spain and Switzerland based design studio, the Ostrich Pillow Junior is a scaled down version of the Ostrich Pillows to make it suitable for napping children six years old and above. Compared with its adult model, this ostrich-shaped version has padded grey helmets to give kids the sleeping comfort they desire. It has been modified in such a way that their whole face is visible through the front hole. The kid version features patterned fabric lining up the inside which can be seen through the hand holes on both sides.
The Ostrich Pillow was originally funded via a Kickstarter campaign by its manufacturer. It raised over $200,000 in just a month.
The Ostrich Pillow Junior comes with two unique interior colors namely Berry Snooze and Dreamy Waves. It features an enhanced padding at the forehead and neck ensuring comfort and support for its user. Kids sleeping during travels will no longer be a problem with this napping aid.
