The pages of this journal and notebook set are made from a very special paper that is 100% “tree free”. No tree is used in producing the paper. Instead it is made from calcium carbonate (CaCO3) and non-toxic resin (HDPE High Density Polyethylene). Calcium carbonate is mainly derived from limestone and that is why this paper is also known as stone paper.
The stone paper is much denser than ordinary paper and the Stone Paper Journal and Notebook do actually feel much heavier than it looks. The stone paper writing pages are bright white and feels really smooth. Writing on stone paper feels like gliding across the paper whether you use a ball-point pen or a fountain pen. You will fall in love with how it feels to write on stone paper. Stone paper is waterproof, oil proof and tear resistant. You can spill water on it or have it get soaked in the rain and the book will be perfectly fine.
The Stone Paper Journal and Notebook comes in a set. The journal is A6 size with 100 lined pages while the notebook is A5 size and has 160 lined pages. In line with its eco-friendly paper, the books are printed using soy ink and strapped together with a recycled belly band.
